Walk in the Light: The First Letter of John

Darkness takes many different forms: hypocrisy, pride, selfishness, division, hopelessness, and the list goes on. We see it all around us, and if we’re really honest, we see it in our own families and even our own hearts. In this short letter, John writes to people surrounded by darkness and points them to the only hope: Jesus, who entered our dark world as the Light, and invites us to walk in relationship with him. As we study 1 John together, let’s dream about reflecting the light of Christ to a world that needs it more than ever before.
