FAQ’s

Who can come?
This one-day event is for all women middle school age and up and this is a great outreach opportunity so invite your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors! Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There will be a special breakout designed specifically for teen girls.

Where will it be?
The event will take place on our main Chapel campus (264 Jacksonville Rd, Lincoln Park) and will start and end in the main auditorium.

Will there be food?
Breakfast and a boxed lunch will be provided. If you have any dietary restrictions, please note them when registering. For the boxed lunch, you will choose which option you want when registering – there are gluten free and vegetarian options available. You are welcome to bring your own food if you have any concerns.

Can kids come?
No childcare will be provided, and this event is only for women who are middle school age and older so please plan accordingly.

Are there breakout sessions?
There are 2 breakout session time slots in between the large group sessions. When registering, you will choose which 2 breakouts you want to attend out of the 5 options. We recommend saving your confirmation email somewhere handy, so you remember what you signed up for. Lunch is not a separate breakout this year as it will be a boxed lunch that you can grab and take with you to any of the breakout sessions.

What should I bring?
Bring a journal and pen to take notes, and an open heart to receive what God has for you!

What does it cost?
The cost is $30 and covers all meals and activities. Registration is required to attend. If cost is a prohibiting factor for you, please reach out to julie@thechapel.org for a scholarship – we never want the cost to keep you from coming!

Prayer Workshop: Joy in the Waiting
Have you ever grown discouraged and forgotten by God because your prayers continue to go unanswered? Prayer is one of the primary methods by which we can tap into the joy of the Lord, but sometimes it doesn’t feel that way. Through personal testimonies, Biblical wisdom and personal reflection, we will discover ways to restore joy and energize your prayer life.

Teen Breakout: Joy in Yourself
One scroll on Instagram or ten minutes in the school cafeteria can easily make you feel like you don’t fit in or measure up. In a culture that is consumed with social status and physical appearance, it can be difficult to see ourselves the way God does. Join us and learn how to find joy in who God made you to be. This breakout is designed specifically for girls in middle school & high school.
