Kenya Mission Trip
October 3-13 | Register by July 15
Kajiado, Kenya
Team Healthcare is a non-profit organization of evangelical Christians who spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to underprivileged areas of the world through Medical, and Vacation Bible School mission trips.
Our upcoming trip will be to Kenya, Africa. The team will be partnering with local pastors, equipping them with first aid supplies and knowledge on basic first aid treatment as they work to keep a healthy congregation both physically and spiritually. In addition, we will be serving the 170+ children that attend the Naboisho Oliver Academy in Kajiado, Kenya by reaffirming their faith through sharing the Gospel while playing sports, games, and providing opportunities for praise and worship.
The team will be ministering to people from the Maasai Tribe. This community possesses great family values, a close-knit community, and always welcomes us with kindness and hospitality. They face extreme poverty and limited access to basic services including healthcare and clean water. It is truly a blessing to step into their culture and share the love of Jesus with them.
The trip will depart on October 3rd and return on October 13th with the program running from the 5th – 9th.
The team will reside at a mission house located on the school’s property during our 5 day program followed by a visit to the Maasai Mara National Reserve for a safari before traveling back home.
Experience in a healthcare field is favorable but not a requirement, and the desire to bring the love of Jesus Christ to children is what is needed to become a part of the team!
The trip cost is $3,000. This will cover all travel expenses including flights, meals, transportation and housing. The Chapel can also provide a scholarship for some of the cost for members who make an effort to raise support. Upon application, a $500 non-refundable deposit will be collected.
