Where?
Once dubbed the “Golden Gate of the Republic”, Barranquilla is the largest city along Colombia’s Caribbean coastline. They say the biggest danger in traveling to Colombia is that you will never want to leave. Between its vast mountain ranges and sprawling coastlines, the country’s picturesque scenes will capture your heart. But among the 46 million people living in Colombia, many have never heard the story of Jesus or experienced his grace firsthand. We have been working in the region of Barranquilla for a number of years with good success. The e3 Colombia Mentor Network is developing its vision and tools for starting, strengthening, and establishing new churches.

Barranquilla, the home city of our national director, has been a flagship dimension of our ministry. Our participation as American Missionaries in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting trips are a powerful encouragement and motivation for our Colombian partners. This trip also includes a medical component, which means a team of medical personnel share the love of Christ in several of the church planting communities by meeting basic medical needs.
