LGBTQ+ Resources
We believe that God’s love extends to everyone, and at the same time, we hold firmly to the Chapel’s position on marriage and sexuality: that God has established marriage as a lifelong, exclusive relationship between one man and one woman and that all intimate sexual activity outside the marriage relationship, whether heterosexual, homosexual, or otherwise, is immoral and therefore sin. Similarly, we hold that God created the human race male and female and that adopting a gender other than one’s birth gender is also sin. While maintaining our position, we are convinced that our response to the LGBTQ+ community needs to always reflect God’s saving love.
